NFL Stars’ Bold Baby Message to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Retired NFL stars Julian Edelman and Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski took to their podcast to predict what a future would be like if Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were to have a baby.

On a recent episode of Edelman and Gronkowski’s Dudes on Dudes podcast, the former wide receiver and tight end agreed that Kelce and Swift, both 35, “should have a kid.”

“That would be a great kid,” Edelman gushed.

The athletes assumed the child would be a son, and that he would play football — and sing.

“The kid would be performing — having eight catches a game and then doing the halftime show,” said Gronkowski, 35, after singing Kelce’s praises as a top tight end. If the Chiefs star and “Fortnight” singer got started now, he predicted the young man would be an NFL star in under 24 years.

“Probably sooner,” countered Edelman, 38. “Taylor was on the scene when she was, like, 13.”

Pennsylvania native Swift — who’s been dating Kelce for two years — sang “The Star-Bangled Banner” at a Philadelphia 76ers game when she was 11, moved with her family to Tennessee at 13, and signed her first contract as a songwriter at 14.

“Their kid would be like 14 in college,” Gronkowski agreed. “[He] would just surpass middle school because he’s so smart.”

“Then he would go do a duet with [rapper] Quavo right after,” Edelman predicted, adding later, “Top 10 hits and a TikTok song.”

“He’ll be in the league at 18 and singing and performing at halftime,” topped Gronkowski. “Dang, they need to have a kid if that’s the case.”

Edelman agreed, “They’ve gotta have a kid.”

While Swift and Kelce have never publicly discussed their future family plans, Kelce is enjoying being “Uncle Trav” to his nieces. His brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, has three daughters with fellow podcaster Kylie Kelce — and a fourth girl on the way.
