WNBA star Lexie Hull put her body on the line to help the Indiana Fever beat the Seattle Storm on Tuesday.

The injury-ravaged Fever beat the storm in a 95-75 victory Tuesday night as the WNBA season enters its final playoff push.

However, the win came at a cost for Hull after she collided with Storm star Gabby Williams during the first quarter.

And the guard revealed the shocking extent of the damage that the collision left on her face in a TikTok video on Thursday, giving fans a look at her two black eyes.

The hooper, known for her gritty defense, flashed the two shiners to the camera after a fan on the social media platform asked her how the ‘knot’ on her head was healing.

‘Funny you should ask that, because it’s not doing great,’ Hull said while removing her sunglasses and exposing the black eyes. ‘I wish this was a filter, but this is insane.’

‘The knot is gone. Instead, I just have two black eyes. So, yeah, this is me!’ Hull said.

Despite the black-and-blue bruising, Hull was not listed on the Fever’s injury report ahead of their clash against the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday night.

Hull’s collision with Williams occurred just minutes into the first quarter of Tuesday’s game in a battle for the ball.

Storm guard Skylar Diggins fumbled her grip on the ball and Hull dove in to scoop up the possession. However, Williams had the same plan of attack, also launching herself in the direction of the ball.

The two ran into each other head-first in a brutal collision that left both of them tumbling to the court.

Both Hull and Williams were sent to the locker rooms to be assessed for head injuries. However, luckily for the Fever, Hull was deemed able to re-enter the game and made a return to the court to a standing ovation – sporting a massive lump on her forehead.

The Fever have suffered with injuries this season with superstar Caitlin Clark missing 17 consecutive games.

The former No 1 pick has been sidelined with a lingering groin injury since mid-July and reportedly tweaked her right ankle during an individual workout earlier this month.

In the same session, teammates Sydney Colson (left ACL) and Aari McDonald (right foot) suffered season-ending injuries.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Sophie Cunningham will miss the remainder of the season for the Indiana Fever after suffering a knee injury earlier this month.

Despite the slew of injuries, the 20-18 Fever are in the thick of the playoff hunt under first-year coach Stephanie White.
