Travis Kelce’s Mom Shares Rare Post About Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce did something a bit out of character on Tuesday, March 18: She posted about Taylor Swift on Instagram.

Mama Kelce was over-the-moon excited for Swift following the iHeartRadio Music Awards that took place in Hollywood on Monday, March 17. The pop icon won nine fan-voted awards, including Best Music Video and Best Collaboration for “Fortnight” with Post Malone. She and Travis also took home a joint award, for Favorite Surprise Guest for the Kansas City Chiefs’ viral onstage appearance at Swift’s final Eras Tour show in London in 2024.

Donna shared a list of the awards with no caption.

Fans were thrilled to see Donna, who has been very respectful of her son’s relationship, outwardly show her support for Swift, 35.

“We love a supportive and loving family! Everything both of them deserve,” one person commented on Donna’s post.

“Celebrity mamas, they’re just like us!! Love your heart mama Kelce, and the pride and love you have for your family. Congrats to Taylor,” someone else said.

“Love that you’re proudly showing support,” a third comment read.

“Well this is so nice of you dear @donnakelce. Swifties just adore you,” another Instagram user added.

Donna has gotten to know Swift quite well over the past two years. The two women have spent a lot of time together, whether it be at Kansas City Chiefs games cheering on Travis, or at family gatherings.

In May 2024, Donna appeared on The Martha Stewart Podcast where she talked a bit about her son’s romance. Although Donna was careful not to overshare, she did respond when Stewart wished her luck with things regarding her son and Swift.

“You never know. Time will tell, but I know that they’re both friendly, they’re both generous, they’re both loving, they’re both caring individuals,” Donna responded.
