Taylor Swift’s Neighbors Are Worried Following A Grisly Discovery Near Her Ocean Front Rhode Island Mansion

Residents in Taylor Swift’s neighborhood in Rhode Island are likely not going to sleep as soundly for the next few nights following a grisly discovery.

According to reports, police discovered human remains close to Swift’s mansion in the Watch Hill neighborhood. Swift bought the residence for $17 million 12 years ago.

Officers were called to Everett Avenue around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday on a report of possible remains. They found what appeared to be a human leg bone, which was collected and handed to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for analysis.

According to local news outlet 10 WJAR, the authorities have opened an investigation into the matter.

Police say no foul play is suspected, but resident Taylor Day thinks something is definitely up and has expressed deep concern.

I would definitely disagree with that,” Day told the publication. “I think finding a leg is very suspicious.”

Day said that the bone was found “probably a couple football fields away from Taylor Swift’s house and the Ocean House. I would never expect anything like that—especially not in Watch Hill.”

The concerned resident said the incident has left many people in the neighborhood feeling uneasy, and she plans to be extra careful herself.

“My mind immediately went to all the theories that are being thrown around,” she added. “I’m more aware of my surroundings. I don’t go [to] places that are kind of dim or where I could be alone. Just trying to stay out in public and be vigilant.”

Swift hasn’t addressed the discovery, nor is she expected to. But things haven’t been great for her lately, as she was recently subpoenaed as part of a major lawsuit.
