Neighbors often told me I was very lucky because my husband was so simple, my daughter was like a little angel, and my father-in-law was very understanding. My husband, Akash, worked day and night in a wood factory to keep the family happy. My father-in-law was a disciplined man, but he loved his daughter-in-law very much. After that night, I completely changed. I severed all ties with Sameer. I began devoting all my time to my husband and child. A year later, we opened a small grocery store. We worked hard together. One day, Akash held my hand and said: “Thank you, my life partner.”
