Indiana Fever Fan Favorite Sophie Cunningham Drops Bombshell Payday Reveal
Sophie Cunningham is swimming in money these days.
The Fever were missing All-Star guard Caitlin Clark in the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final, but Cunningham had their back.
Natasha Howard had 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists on Tuesday night as the Indiana Fever defeated the Minnesota Lynx 74-59. Cunningham scored 13 points while Aliyah Boston, Aari McDonald, and Kelsey Mitchell each scored 12 points.
Caitlin Clark, who has been sidelined since June 24 with a strained groin, cheered on the squad as they overcame an early 13-point deficit with balanced scoring and a stout defensive performance against the team with the best record in the league.
The Indiana Fever secured itself a $500,000 payout with Tuesday night’s 74-59 win over the Minnesota Lynx.
In addition to the money, each player received a smaller cryptocurrency sum.
Sophie Cunningham, who led all bench players in scoring in the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final against the Minnesota Lynx, had some great news this week.
Taking to TikTok, Cunningham revealed that she’s coming away with $30,000.
