Cardi B wants to put you on to her undefeated skincare routine, but there’s a catch.
On Tuesday, April 1, the “Enough” rapper hopped on Instagram to reveal the secret sauce behind her glowing skin. “Let me tell you a little secret,” she began. “So everybody always ask me, how do my skin look so beautiful, so shiny, so amazing at the age of 32, 3 kids, job stressing me out and sleepless nights. Well, I’ve been using this new cream. It’s the Canes moisturizing sauce cream. Oh my gosh.”
Bardi raised the moisturizing cream in front of the camera, which revealed the collaboration between Raising Canes and IPSY.
The mother of three dabbed the cream on her face and spread it around as she explained why she used it. “It’s not greasy, not sticky, and it smells just like chicken,” she said before sneaking a taste of the moisturizer. “Sorry, I’m just so hungry and the moisturizer just tastes so good!” she said. Raising Canes issued a statement after Bardi dropped her skincare routine and called it “the latest beauty craze to hit the market and is the perfect solution for those looking to update their skincare routine.”
Fans in the comments didn’t let Cardi B’s hilarious April Fool’s prank get the best of them. Although some admitted they almost fell for it, fans left plenty of laughing emojis and other comical comments once they caught on to her joke.
In other news, Cardi B isn’t joking around when it comes to her long-awaited album. During a recent session on X Spaces, the Grammy award-winning rapper said she’s “100 percent confident” about the project and revealed some clues about who will appear on it.
“I’m working with artists, some that I have worked before and some that I haven’t worked before,” she said. “And like the ones that like I have not worked with before, I feel like it’s gonna like really, really surprise y’all. And it’s such a vibe.”
