Cameras caught Caitlin Clark’s curious glance at Kelsey Plum during Thursday night’s game between the Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks, and social media has plenty to say about it.
The Sparks snapped a four-game losing streak with an 85-75 win over the Fever away from home on the night, going off for 35 fourth-quarter points after entering the final period with a deficit.
Clark did not play, with the Fever announcing earlier in the day that she was dealing with a groin injury. The team had difficulty producing a sustained offense as a result.
Plum and Azura Stevens brought the juice for L.A., scoring 21 and 23 points respectively, with Plum especially effective in the fourth quarter. The Former Las Vegas Aces star would hit a go-ahead three-pointer late in the fourth that helped her team overcome a deficit and secure their fifth win of what has been a poor season.
At one point, Clark was caught giving her a mini stare while she walked past, leading to all sorts of comments.
Check her out in the clip below:
“Plum was cooking😂,” one fan suggested.
“she got lost in the sauce for a second,” said another.
“That’s how we look at the woman we like,” someone else offered.

“Kelsey was cooking at that point. Baking, to be precise,” said a fourth.
“Sizing her up for next time they meet cuz K Plum was trying to get her a tech😂,” another user pointed out, which is true.
“Isn’t that how we all look at her?” someone asked.
“She has a boyfriend can we stop with this…” another fan wrote.

The Fever led 58-50 late in the third quarter but fell to a 21-8 run thereafter. Dearica Hamby and Rickea Jackson chipped in with 14 points each, with the former completing a late and-one to put the game out of reach.
Kelsey Mitchell scored 20 for the Fever, marking her fifth straight double-figure output. Aliyah Boston recorded her 31st career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Aari McDonald, who re-signed with he team this week, added 14 points from the bench.
The loss leaves the Fever with a 7-8 record ahead of tonight’s game against the Dallas Wings.
Clark has not been officially ruled out; her status remains day-to-day.
