50 Cent Reveals What Fueled His Issues With Diddy & JAY-Z

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson recently sat down for a revealing interview with *The Hollywood Reporter*, where he opened up about why his relationship with two music moguls—Sean “Diddy” Combs and JAY-Z—had become so strained that it was beyond repair.

50 Cent has long been openly critical of Diddy on social media, but tensions came to a head this year after a series of lawsuits were filed over serious allegations against Diddy. In the interview, 50 Cent shared that he never felt comfortable at Diddy’s events. “There was a strange energy there that made me feel uneasy,” he said bluntly.

One of the moments that made 50 Cent wary was when Diddy extended an invitation that he said was “very unusual.” “I didn’t understand it, because it was so different from anything I’ve ever experienced professionally,” 50 Cent added.

He also addressed the shocking video that went viral in May, which allegedly showed Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel room. Diddy later apologized, but quickly took it down online. 50 Cent said he would include the entire story in an upcoming Netflix documentary, tentatively titled **”Diddy Do It?”**

However, 50 Cent has not been immune to his own controversy, as he has been embroiled in a legal battle over custody of his children. His ex, Daphne Joy, has made controversial statements on social media, but has since taken them down.

“In this day and age, it can be devastating to a reputation if you make an accusation,” 50 Cent said. “Even if it’s unfounded, people are just waiting for something to jump on and exploit.”

50 Cent also talked about being almost kicked off the Halftime Show stage at the 2022 Super Bowl. According to him, Roc Nation – the company run by Jay-Z – had no intention of inviting him to perform. However, Eminem insisted on 50 Cent’s presence, otherwise he would not perform. “I wasn’t on the official list, but thanks to Eminem, I was included as a surprise.”

Also this year, 50 Cent continued to mock Jay-Z on social media, implying that he was keeping quiet about the turmoil surrounding Diddy. Rumors arose after Roc Nation suddenly canceled its annual Grammy brunch event.
