Caitlin Clark Reveals Fever Blueprint for Success Following Win vs. Dream
Caitlin Clark, as always, remains at the forefront of basketball’s primary headlines. Whether it’s a regularly scheduled day off, or her Indiana Fever are playing a WNBA game, Clark’s performance, comments, and even outfits land under the spotlight.
Friday night, the Fever hosted the Atlanta Dream, looking to get back in the win-column after dropping back-to-back games. Clark and the Fever did just that, taking down the Dream 99-82 in a high scoring affair.
While Clark struggled to find her full offensive game, shooting just 5-for-17 from the field, including 1-for-7 from 3-point range, her Fever dropped an impressive 59 points in the second half against the Dream.
Following the game, Clark spoke to ESPN on their second half, offensive explosion, revealing the blueprint for success for the Fever moving forward this season.
“I thought we just played with a really great pace. I thought we moved the ball, I thought we cut hard, which opened up the 3-point line for us, and then we knocked down some shots…I kind of felt like how we should get back out there and play every single game. I think 99 points is probably the most we’ve put up in quite some time. I think someone said 59 is the most scored in a second half in quite a few years now.”

The Fever’s 99-point effort was the second most points they’ve scored in a game this season. They dropped 102 points during a June 14 victory over the New York Liberty.
The Fever’s 59 second-half points on Friday are their most points in any half this season, and according to ESPN’s @alexaphilippou on X, the Fever tied their most points in any half in the last seven seasons.
