Caitlin Clark Speaks Out After Everyone Noticed A Major Change In Her Appearance Ahead Of The 2025 WNBA Season
During the March Madness women’s tournament, basketball fans were stunned by a new photo of Caitlin Clark that appeared to show the Fever superstar seriously hitting the weights.
While attending a Big Ten battle between her former program as Iowa took on Ohio State, she was pictured on the sidelines cheering and looking different.
“Well, someone’s been in the weight room,” photographer Bri Lewerke said of Clark when spotted at the game.
A full month after the photo initially went viral, Caitlin Clark discussed her viral offseason photo as she prepares for her second year in the WNBA.
“It was the camera angle!” Clark joked during an appearance on the show of WNBA legends Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. “AI is getting out of control, c’mon.”
The Indiana Fever eventually revealed, “I’m trying to get stronger, like a lot of time in the weight room. It’s something I kind of enjoy, so it’s pretty easy for me to spend time in there and really work on that part of my game.”
Much was said about the 23-year-old entering the league last year, but she quickly established herself as one of the top perimeter shooters in the WNBA during her inaugural season, leading the league by averaging 3.1 triples per game.
In the midst of her phenomenal season, she shot 63.0 percent in the restricted area but connected on a mere 41.0 percent of her shot attempts in the paint.
Her rookie year ended with her averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Indiana Fever made a series of trades and free-agent signings to ensure Caitlin had what she needed to succeed.
Those moves included acquiring Sophie Cunningham and Jaelyn Brown in a four-team deal and adding DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, and Sydney Colson to bolster their roster for the 2025 WNBA season.
The Fever acquired guard Sophie Cunningham, the No. 19 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft from the Phoenix Mercury, and Jaelyn Brown from the Dallas Wings.
The Fever earned their first playoff berth since 2016 with a 20-20 record in 2024 as Clark won Rookie of the Year and first-team All-WNBA honors.
Things should be much better in 2025.
