Quavo Comments On Cardi B And Offset’s “Soap Opera” Breakup Drama

Fans brought Takeoff into the mess, and neither Huncho nor Set was fond of that.

Cardi B and Offset are seemingly done, and the breakup has played out messily in the public eye. Quavo took to X, formerly known as Twitter, this weekend to comment on all that had been taking place.

“Nephew ain’t with the soap opera,” Huncho wrote on Saturday (Dec. 16). “LONG LIVE ROCKET [rocket emoji] [praying hands emoji]. Pray for y’all though. [infinity emojis]” While he was seemingly referring to his “Motorsport” collaborators, he also was speaking up on behalf of the late Takeoff, whom Cardi’s fans had brought up amid the drama.

The “Ric Flair Drip” artist also spoke up on behalf of the Migos member. “Fan wishing death on takeoff is crazy yal lil a** better chill,” he wrote on Saturday. He offered a clearer follow-up tweet less than two hours later, writing “Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother, and would like for his name to not be brought up.”

Cardi B and Offset’s drama first began when Blueface accused the Atlanta rapper of sleeping with his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock. The Set It Off rapper quickly denied doing so, but the allegation led to the Bronx superstar speaking up and revealing that she had “been single for a minute now.”

“I know today has been an eventful day,” she said in a video last week when addressing the rumors about her husband. “I don’t pay mind to none of that. I don’t care about none of that. I don’t know if y’all been getting clues from me from my Lives, from my Stories, when I put certain music [up] or from my unfollowings. When it comes to today’s events, I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now.”

She revealed that she had been conflicted about telling her fans for some time, and ultimately wants to walk into 2024 with a clean slate. However, things got even more intense this past Friday (Dec. 15) via X. “@OffsetYRN you a bi**h a** n-kkaa …and trust me imma f**kin take it there!” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet, before following up with “Mufukas will try you when you at ya lowest and your most vulnerable time.. you out here feeling yourself but trust me the tables turn.”
