The Indiana Fever have offered a positive update on Caitlin Clark amid her injury spell.

The point guard remains sidelined with a groin injury that ruled her out of the 2025 All-Star Game last weekend, having aggravated a previous injury in a fixture against the Connecticut Sun on July 15.

She is set to miss a third straight game as a result, but the Fever are optimistic that she will return soon, having revealed in a Thursday update that she underwent evaluations this week and nothing concerning came up.

“Caitlin Clark underwent further medical evaluations earlier this week, which confirmed that no additional injuries or damage were discovered,” the team said in a statement via their official website.

The Fever relayed that the second-year player will “continue working with the medical team on her recovery and rehabilitation, with the priority on her long-term health and well-being.”

“There is no timetable available for her return,” they added

Clark has played just 13 out of a possible 24 games for Indiana this season and is having difficulty with soft tissue injuries, including quad and groin issues.

The latter forced her to pull out of the All-Star Game, which was held in Indianapolis last weekend.

On a more positive note, the former Iowa star could return on Sunday, when the Fever will host the Chicago Sky and her rival Angel Reese. Things got feisty between the two sophomores during their first meeting this season, with Angel reacting violently after Clark hit her with a hard foul in their opener.

The Fever, meanwhile, are clinging on to a playoff spot with a 12-12 record and will hope to have Caitlin healthy for the remainder of the season once she does return.

Head coach Stephanie White noted that the team was taking a cautious approach, pointing out that soft tissue injuries need extended periods of rest to heal properly.

However, it would be quite a treat if she could return on Sunday
