On a sunny autumn afternoon.
The church bells echoed, signaling the beginning of a joyful wedding. A couple, in love since their university days, were finally walking down the aisle after years of being together.

The bride, radiant in her pristine white gown, beamed with happiness. The groom, dressed in an elegant suit, held her hand tightly, his eyes filled with love. Friends and family gathered, their faces lit up with joy, offering heartfelt blessings to the couple.
After the ceremony, the couple stepped out of the church under a shower of vibrant rose petals. They smiled brightly as they climbed into a luxurious car, ready to set off on their honeymoon — a trip to Da Lat they had always dreamed of.
No one could have imagined that just 30 minutes later, a horrifying tragedy would strike.
Their white Mercedes pulled away from the church, weaving through crowded city streets. The bride leaned her head on her husband’s shoulder, gently holding his hand, savoring the warmth of the man she loved.
“I still can’t believe we’re finally married,” she whispered.
The groom smiled. “I’ve waited so long for this day.”
They were lost in their blissful happiness — unaware that a large truck was speeding toward them from behind.
A thunderous crash echoed.
The Mercedes was violently struck from the rear, hurled nearly ten meters before flipping off the road. The sound of shattering glass and crushing metal filled the air.
In that moment, time seemed to slow.
Ngoc screamed in panic, reaching for her husband, but her body was flung forward. The groom cried out too, desperately trying to hold onto her — but it was no use.
Then everything went black.
The wail of ambulance sirens broke the silence. Bystanders rushed over to help, only to be stunned into silence by the horrific scene before them.
The car was mangled beyond recognition. Blood stained the asphalt.
Rescue workers took over 15 minutes to pull the victims from the wreckage. The bride was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The groom, severely injured, tried to whisper something but slipped into a coma.
Doctors fought against time to save both their lives. But after hours of surgery, devastating news broke — the groom didn’t make it.
The bride awoke from her coma and asked for her husband. No one dared to answer.
When the truth was revealed, she let out a heart-wrenching scream. Tears streamed down her face.
Happiness had barely touched her fingertips for less than an hour — and now, she was a widow.
Police began their investigation and uncovered a shocking twist: this wasn’t just a tragic traffic accident.
The truck that caused the crash had deliberately rammed into the newlyweds’ car. The truck driver, a middle-aged man, appeared panicked when arrested, mumbling repeatedly:
“I didn’t mean to… I was just following orders…”
Whose orders?
Digging deeper, the police uncovered a bombshell: this was a planned murder.
Despite being devastated, the bride wanted answers. She began to recall strange things before the wedding — anonymous phone calls, threatening letters warning her not to marry him.
As the investigation expanded, suspicion fell on a specific individual: the groom’s ex-girlfriend.
She had once shared a deep love with him, but he left her for the woman he married. After the breakup, she spiraled into depression and once threatened revenge if he ever married someone else.
Evidence slowly emerged: she had hired the truck driver to stage an “accident.” She wanted the groom to survive but be seriously injured — hoping he would return to her out of weakness and dependence. But the plan had gone too far.
When arrested, she gave a chilling smile:
“He was supposed to be mine.”
She was sentenced to life in prison, but that could never bring the groom back.
Ngoc spent the rest of her days with a shattered heart. She left the city and moved to a remote countryside in search of peace. Every year, on their wedding anniversary, she returned to Minh’s grave, bringing flowers and standing silently before the cold tombstone.
A beautiful love.
A newly blossomed marriage.
But in just 30 minutes, it was taken away forever
