Oh No” Caitlin Clark’s Protective Gear At Practice Goes Insanely Viral, Fans In Shock
The Indiana Fever struck gold when they took Caitlin Clark with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Not only has she proven to be one of the best players in the WNBA, but she gets fans in seats like no one else ever has in the league.
The 2025 season has been hampered by injuries for Clark, and now her protective gear at practice is going extremely viral.

A left quad injury and a groin injury have limited Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark’s playing time this season. She missed five games with the quad injury and two more recently with the groin injury:
Injuries are nothing unusual in sports, of course, but they are for Clark — before this season, she had never missed a game with an injury. Not in the pros as a rookie last year or even in four seasons in college at Iowa.
Given the fact that she also missed a game with a leg injury in the preseason, this does appear part of a concerning pattern with Clark, and there is concern that perhaps she is rushing back onto the floor too quickly.
The Fever certainly want to avoid that. As coach Stephanie White said on Friday, “Anybody who’s had some of these types of injuries understands that sometimes it’s a process. She’s a quick healer, and she’s been doing everything she can to get back on the floor. We just want to make sure we’re hyper-sensitive to the big picture.”
Given that she has already missed so much time, it might be too late for that.
Still, the Fever are holding steady at 8-8 this season, and Clark is listed as a day-to-day situation, which means she could well be back on the floor when the Fever take the floor on Tuesday in the Commissioner’s Cup final against Minnesota.
If there is a reason to hope, it’s that Clark was back on the floor on Sunday in Indiana, taking part in the Fever’s practice.
Clark was wearing compression tights on both legs, as rpeorter Scott Agness pointed out.
The hope is that Clark can play in Minnesota on Thursday for the Cup title. After that game, Indiana returns home for a game on Thursday against the Aces, which marks a stretch of five straight home games during which the Fever hope to firm up their place in the standings.
