Patrick Mahomes celebrates with his mother

Patrick Mahomes leaves mom Randi blown away with multi-million dollar gift

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes gifted his mother Randi a new home after suffering a blowout Super Bowl LIX loss, and has revealed a new physique and look ahead of 2025 NFL season

Patrick Mahomes may still be working through the pain of losing Super Bowl LIX in a blowout defeat to the Eagles, but signs of a fresh chapter are already showing, starting with a new haircut, a reinvigorated physique, and a new home gifted to his mother, Randi Mahomes. The Super Bowl LIX defeat was soon followed by her father, Randy, passing at 78, so this will come as quite a gift for Randi.

In an Instagram post shared with Chiefs Kingdom, Randi stood in front of her brand-new house, holding the keys in a reserved pose while celebrating the moment with a message to her family. “Home is where the heart is, and my heart is full!” she wrote. “Beyond grateful for my amazing family, Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Jackson Mahomes, and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing.”

The photo unveiled an elegant-looking modern exterior with gray brick walls, black roofing, a fresh front lawn complete with newly planted trees, and mulch-lined landscaping. While the exact location was kept under wraps, fans flooded the comments section with love.

Jackson dropped a “love you, momma” message in the comments section, with Randi replying to his post. Even Kansas City-based brand Vintage Modern congratulated Randi, and many commentators called her a “lucky mama.”

While Randi showed off her new crib, Patrick turned heads with his transformation. In a workout video shared earlier this offseason, Mahomes looked noticeably leaner and more explosive.

The KC QB has worked hard to shed criticism of having a “dad bod” last season. He’s appeared ripped and refocused in the training videos, ready to shut down any doubters heading into 2025.

Kansas City fell short in its bid for an NFL-record three-peat, with Mahomes blaming himself for the defeat. “I can’t turn the ball over early in the game when it’s not going our way,” he said. “I’ll have to learn from that and try to be better the next opportunity that I hopefully get.”

Alongside his workouts, the two-time MVP and three-time Super Bowl champion continued his community efforts on Monday. He led the “Read for 15” Reading Rally in Kansas City and took his kids to see Disney on Ice. The Chiefs hold eight picks, including the 31st overall in the upcoming NFL Draft, and are expected to target offensive line depth and pass rush help, especially after being outmuscled up front in the Super Bowl.
