Taylor Swift has taken legal action against Kanye West after the rapper posted a series of controversial posts about her and two other famous singers, Justin Bieber and Harry Styles.

In the deleted posts, Kanye West made a number of baseless claims that left Taylor Swift extremely angry. According to a source close to the *Daily Mail*, the singer had no choice but to send a cease and desist letter demanding that the behavior be stopped and the spread of false information.

“Kanye has gone too far this time. What he said is not only untrue but also seriously defamatory,” the source said.

“This is not just a misunderstanding. This is behavior that negatively affects the personal image and career of a female artist, and is deeply hurtful.”

Taylor’s current boyfriend, athlete Travis Kelce, is reportedly furious about the situation and is ready to “confront” him directly if necessary.

Another source said Kelce felt that responding further would only spread misinformation, but Taylor’s obvious upset made him unable to sit still. “Travis is very supportive of her and believes there needs to be consequences. He [Kanye] would never say those things to her face,” the source said.

On social media, many people criticized Kanye West. One account wrote: “After everything Kanye has done to her since 2009, it’s time for Taylor to take stronger action. A restraining order is needed.”
