Video of Caitlin Clark scoring 22 points in TWO minutes against Men’s Iowa basketball team resurfaces

Caitlin Clark had created many iconic moments on the court but it’s one that came in practice that has caused a stir this week.

Footage of the WNBA superstar has gone viral after it reemerged showing her going on an insane run during a scrimmage in her college days at Iowa.

In the Hawkeyes’ practice, Clark and her teammates were captured going up against a men’s scrimmage team with the guard proving she can dominate no matter who the competition is.

Within the two minute clip, Clark is captured putting on an explosive performance, scoring 22 points against the men.

And, in her guest episode on David Letterman’s Netflix show, ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,’ that dropped on Tuesday, Clark broke down the insane run.

‘We have a practice team that’s all guys… I think we were down 15. We made a couple threes, we cut [the lead] to like 10, maybe,’ Clark explained.

Letterman then interjected and said, ‘When you say “we made a couple of threes”, was it you or was everybody making threes?’

‘It was me, but the points went to the Iowa Hawkeyes,’ Clark added with a laugh. ‘So I think I had 22 points in 2 minutes, that was the moral of the story.’

Clark had jokingly pretended that nobody truly knew if it had happened because nobody saw it due to the moment occurring in training.

However, the Indiana Fever star was swiftly proved wrong as the clip of the legendary shooting spree resurfaced on social media for all her fans to see – including Dave Portnoy.

The Barstool Sports founder, who has been an avid backer of Clark, reposted the clip to X as he gushed over her once again.

‘This may be the most incredible Caitlin Clark video I’ve ever seen,’ he wrote. ‘A lost scrimmage video vs the men’s practice team at Iowa in which Caitlin goes berserker mode and scores 22 points in 2 minutes. She is the one.’

His praise comes after the media personality came out swinging in defense of Clark and her college career earlier this week.

The footage sparked praise from her fans, including Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy

Iowa ‘s appearance in last year’s March Madness title showdown with South Carolina, Clark’s final game for the Hawkeyes, drew 18.9million viewers, the most for a women’s basketball game in history.

Sunday’s championship game between South Carolina and a Paige Bueckers-led UConn team drew 8.5million viewers.

‘I’m going to need all the race baiters who explain Caitlin Clarks popularity simply because shes white to explain why 10 million more people watched her last year than Paige Bueckers(also white) this year. I’ll hang up and listen,’ Portnoy said on X.

Clark and Iowa set the record for the four most-watched women’s basketball games of all time within a 13-month span during her junior and senior seasons at Iowa.
