More notably, Cardi B also said that her mother – who always followed and protected her daughter – convinced her to seriously reconsider this marriage. According to some close sources, Cardi B’s mother had long lost trust in Offset after the rapper was caught being unfaithful in the past. She is said to have had a big influence in Cardi B’s decision to end this relationship.

In addition, in a previous livestream in January 2025, Cardi B unexpectedly accused Offset and his mother of taking her property: “I’ve overlooked a lot of things, until you and your mother took my money. I can’t turn a blind eye anymore.”

Cardi B also did not hesitate to mention that Offset did not care about his children during Christmas, even though he still appeared in other places to give gifts to children who were not hers. “He didn’t buy anything for my children for Christmas. But he flew to New York to buy gifts for other children. That hurt me a lot.”

Cardi B and Offset are beefing once again.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 32, seemingly accused her estranged husband, 33, and his mother, Latabia Woodward, of robbing her in an X Spaces livestream on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

“I ain’t listen after you and your momma robbed me,” Cardi claimed, according to Billboard. “Yeah, you and your mom robbed me cold, wiped my nose. Told you stop f—ing playing with me.”

She also claimed the Migos rapper didn’t buy their three kids — daughter Kulture Kiari, 6½, son Wave Set, 3, and their newborn daughter, 5 months — any Christmas presents, despite him allegedly buying gifts for his other kids during a shopping spree in New York City.

“You just called your daughter for the first time this year, yesterday,” Cardi alleged. “Your newborn. You love your kids so much and you didn’t bought them s— for Christmas. But you came to New York to buy your other kids gifts.”

She added: “But you didn’t bought my kids s— on purpose to spite me. Mind you, we was cool. We wasn’t f—ing, but we was cool. Stop f—ing playing with me.”

The “I Like It” hitmaker then claimed that she “couldn’t even enjoy [her] own wins because [she] felt like he was going through something.”

“And this is the realest s— somebody could ever do for you,” Cardi continued. “I used to pray for this person before I prayed for myself. And then this motherf—er had the nerve to say that I was being ‘competitive.’”

Reps for Cardi and Offset did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

In July 2024, PEOPLE confirmed that Cardi filed for divorce from Offset after six years of marriage for the second time.

“It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming,” a rep said.

The New York Post‘s Page Six was first to report the news.

However, in December 2024, the pair seemed to be on “good terms” and were finally finding a groove when it comes to co-parenting their three children.

“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” Cardi said on a live X Spaces in December, according to a recording posted by The Jasmine Brand. “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is, we’re really healthy co-parenting.
