A 14-year-old boy allegedly died by suicide in a high-rise residential building in Kandiwali. The incident took place around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the apartment complex where the actress known for her roles in popular Gujarati and Hindi television serals resides. According to police, the boy had a disagreement with his mother over attending tuition classes.

On Wednesday, the class 9 student was asked by his mother to go for tuition, but he was reluctant which led to an argument. Later, resident of the building alerted his mother about the incident. The official confirmed that no foul played is suspected at this stage. No foul is suspected as yet. An accidental death report has been registered and a further probe is underway.

The Kandiwali police station officials said sources said the police may ask the boy’s friend in school and tuition classes about his mental condition in the last few days. In an unrelated case, a 64year-old builder from Nalaara died by suicide after he was allegedly harassed by money lenders and policemen. As part of the probe, the police are likely to inquire why the boy was trying to avoid tushin classes.

An officer said the police have registered an accidental case report. According to police, he had taken a loan of 32 lakh from a money lender. His family claimed that two police constables frequently pressured and harassed him to repay the amount
